A first building, on the ground floor, will form the teaching zone for early childhood education and complementary spaces. In a 2-storey building (ground floor + first floor), the teaching zone corresponding to primary education and administration areas and common spaces will be located. A third building will house the gym and changing rooms and, the room, the dining area, kitchen and services.
In addition, the outdoor spaces provided for in the program of needs will be located within the plot: playground, primary playground, school garden, fighting ground, parking lots and covered sports court.
The Bidding Order divides the planned payment into three annuities, so it is planned to finish the work, with 18 educational units, in the year 2021.

The CEIP El Castillo is one of the works included in the Canarian Plan of Educational Infrastructure 2018-2025, where there are already two works started in Fuerteventura, such as the CEIP of Villaverde and Morro Jable.
The CEIP Villaverde, 9 units, is located in the town of the same name, in the municipality of La Oliva, in Fuerteventura. It occupies a plot of 12,057.10 square meters, with a constructed area of 2,467.34 m². and consists of a single-storey building. It will have capacity for 225 school places and is in execution, with a budget of 2,190,055.69 euros.
In addition to the 9 classrooms for children in primary and secondary school, it has a music workshop, 2 small group classrooms, one for computer science, another for resources, a multi-purpose room, library, dining room and kitchen and gymnasium, with their corresponding changing rooms.
Outside, it has a porch, children's play areas, Primary play area, sports courts, parking lots, orchard and garden area. The sports court cover project is in the supervision phase.
On the other hand, the new Morro Jable Infant and Primary Education Center is a teaching centre with 27 units and 660 school positions, located in Morro Jable, Pájara, Fuerteventura. It is a project located on a plot of 12,543.34 square meters, with a constructed area of 4,875.08 square meters distributed in four modules, one and two floors.
The centre has a gym module of 285.43 square meters, a dining room module of 308.17 square meters, indoor sports court and a total of thirty-four classrooms. The construction of the CEIP was awarded with a budget of 4,998,357.47 euros.
In total, the Canary Plan plans to invest in Fuerteventura, until 2025, 67.5 million euros of the 507 million that it contemplates for the entire Canary Islands. In the rest of the islands, 54.8 million euros correspond to Lanzarote; 107.4, to Gran Canaria; 154.7, to Tenerife; 13.2, to La Palma; 9.5 to La Gomera and 11.9 to El Hierro.
