The north will win this poll not because it's better but because this is an English speaking forum and since the north is busier with English speakers it's bound to win.
If this were a German forum then Morro Jable or Jandia in the south would win for the same reasons
If you want peace and quiet then Caleta, if you like long white beaches (and wind surfing) then head south, if you want a busier nightlife then up north to Corralejo
There are no bad places on Fuerteventura but if you're young and want to sow your seed then better to go to Tenerife or better still Majorca
I've lived here for two decades and for many of those years headed home after another night out in daylight while others were rising for breakfast yet seen only a number of fights I could count on one hand, for me that tops any nightlife in the UK
Oh and UFOs, it has UFOs too, seen my first here just a few years ago. Just an orange red ball high overhead flitting silently across the night sky, no sound, no fanfare only for a few seconds and it was gone and I was with a friend who saw it too. Before a smart alec jumps in, no I wasn't drunk either
I only mention the last because I've read other forums who mentioned seeing the same here, one guy said he was sitting at dawn on his front porch as two balls flew up and down the beach in front of him
