Now that Gran Hotel Natura has closed....

I'm thinking of visiting in March/April.  Now that Gran Hotel Natura has closed, where's the best alternative for a naturist stay?

Infinti seems to get a thumbs up from a number of naturists

OK, I'll look at that.  New owners, I believe.

If you don't want the entertainment and restaurant choice of Corralejo and are prepared to self-cater then Maravilla Apartments at El Cotillo might suit. They are rather basic and the double beds all have two single matresses but they are right on the beach and totally nude-friendly in spite of being officially textile. They are definitely over-priced for the quality of the accommodation but the position and the fact that you can be naked there 24/7 if you wish make it our regular El Cotillo destination.

Thanks, John, but I can't really get on with El Cotillo.  I've never stayed there, but I've visited several times and it just doesn't do it for me.

Yes, seen that one, but it says the place is owned by Brits and that booking is handled by Ian & Ruth in Devon.  I thought it was now Dutch-owned.

The web site hasn't been brought up to date yet. They have been busy with a number of changes to the complex. These include reseating and roofing to the 'cosy corner', a kitchen from which a limited number of snacks are available and a small bar area. When we were there in August they had just taken delivery of 2 brand new hot tubs which will be for general use. If you use the contact page the email address will get through to Anja, one of the new owners.
