Just an update. Having enjoyed visits to Gran Hotel Natura, I decided to try the new Petit Hotel Natura in Gran Canaria. It's run by Martijn and Richard, the two guys who ran GHN. I had 9 nights there in late April. A small property, but so colourful and quirky, with curvy walls in the rooms, good furnishings, clean and well cared for. A small pool for cooling-off dips rather than swimming, lots of good quality sunbeds, two lovely hot-tubs, and a spacious roof terrace with sunbeds and double cabanas. The breakfast buffet is identical to GHN. The daytime menu is identical to GHN. No evening food, but there are restaurants within 10 minutes' walk. And there's a free self-service bar at the pool from 1000 to 1830, which was excellent, and nobody abused it. Sadly, no immediate access to a naturist beach, which was a great feature of GHN, but daily free courtesy buses to the Maspalomas beach. At the end of the day, the Gran Canaria beaches are nowhere near as nice as those in Fuerteventura but, as a naturist hotel, Petit Hotel Natura ticks a lot of the boxes.
