I’ve received my email re the need to renew my
Digital Certificate inside the next three months, and I’m trying to do it - waiting and watching the pending symbol spin round - on my old laptop where it was originally installed. It has just timed out at the second stage hurdle. I’ll keep trying, but I’m wondering if I should be able to do it on my IPad, where it is also installed? I have to download software initially in the renewal process - would I use the Mac option rather than the Windows 64 bit? (This will make sense to anyone who has done it recently!).
Why can’t things just WORK?!

Did ours on windows 64.Just follow the instructions
NB at a latter stage we tried to move them to different computer and somehow totally lost one.
This was not a problem as we went into the Tax office in PR and sorted in 2 minutes.
The security guard was very helpful and it is obviously a common problem.

Thanks - I assume this was on a laptop or PC? Mine is just timing out at stage two when I press the ‘siguente’ button, and I have downloaded the FNMT software in stage one. I’d rather try again but using the IPad, but can’t be sure whether Windows 64 bit version would work on IPad.

Has anyone else tried to do this recently? I’m following the prompts, have downloaded the Windows 64 bit software as directed, have gone back to the ‘request renewal’ page, accepted the conditions and pressed ‘siguente’……After a few minutes of scrolling it just gives me a timed out message. I’m using the same, updated Firefox browser I always use with my certificate, and prior to this I checked that it’s still valid and useable. So….does anyone have any ideas on next steps, please? Any suggestions gratefully received. I’ve got a few weeks in which to do it, but would like to get this done in good time. I love technology when it works, but when it just doesn’t…..grrr!
I'll try to find it later but there is another thread about this where I posted about my problem and resolution.
Edit: here you go, see if this helps
