We still await our parcel posted 8 weeks ago in UK, in fact I'm gonna go to PO in Antigua tomorrow to ask if the parcel is lying about there. Just so frustrating.

No one tried to delivery I’ve been home due to the lockdown like everyone else. When I lived in corralejo I never had any problems like this with the post office but since living in Puerto Rosario the postal service is abysmal. We have had cards left in the wrong post boxes which are outside
The building and different post workers all the time. I hope to move from Puerto in the near future just can’t believe how dreadful the post is here it’s cost me a small fortune in delivery charges.
I find this happens with DHL and SEUR out here, often the first I know is a message from seller saying goods returned as unable to deliver. I've had stuff go missing in normal post/Correos, (probably in Madrid or Las Palmas) but never returned to sender.

Just had a thought about missing post from UK and even Europe, I live in Caleta and wondering when the PO here closed after lockdown as it could be locked up in there. Someone posted on Facebook yesterday to say they were up in Antigua PO and the lady in there said mail could be in Caleta PO. Does anyone know if it closed on or after the state of alarm.

That's an interesting idea Willie, mine could possibly be in La Oliva PO, although I think it's wishful thinking! Can't remember when they actually closed, lock down or a day or 2 later.

We have had some mail in the last 7/8 weeks small packet one of my daughters sent fro the USA, took 6 weeks to get here but was delivered to our post box another from the UK took 3 weeks and I had to collect from Antigua, a magazine my wife subscribes to arrived 2/3 weeks later than normal, so I believe mail is being delivered if it gets here, on the other hand, I sent a small packet back to the UK priority airmail, took 11 days to get to the Post Offices International sorting office in Langley near Slough where it has been for 10 days, not unusual it is known in the post office as The Langley Syndrome Smile Smile

Morning John

If your package from USA arrived in 6 weeks I don't hold out any hope of ours arriving from UK. Hope you guys are getting on OK. See you in El Perro Loco soon John, cheers.

Is the Caleta PO moving? It seems to be setting up shop across the road from the Dog & Duck instead of further down within the same hotel complex. Or was it open there before the lockdown?
