Well, battery was replaced and seems to be operating all right now. El Paso unfortunately didn't have any in stock, but a friend checked in a different garage and they had one which would suffice, so we popped it in and things seem to be going all right now, thankfully!

Much appreciation for the assistance. All solved for the princely sum of about €80.  Thumbs Up
