Sergio Lloret, of Asambleas Municipales de Fuerteventura (AMF), has become the third president of the Cabildo of the island this term of office in the plenary session held this Thursday after the resignation of his predecessor, Blas Acosta (PSOE), on 25 February.

Lloret becomes president of the Cabildo thanks to the support of the seven councillors of the CC, the four councillors of the PP and those of his party.

The new government will make Dolores García, of the CC, first vice-president of the Cabildo, and Claudio Gutiérrez, of the PP, second vice-president.
