27-year-old woman seriously injured when overturning with buggy.
The event occurred this morning on the road to Ugán in Pájara.
A 27-year-old woman was injured around 10.30 this morning on the road to Ugan, on the west coast of Fuerteventura, in the municipality of Pájara. The woman presents trauma in the upper limb of a serious nature and was transferred by medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it communicated that a woman needed medical assistance after the overturning of the vehicle in which she was circulating on a dirt road.
The SUC staff assessed and assisted the affected woman who, after being stabilized, was transferred by medicalized ambulance to the aforementioned hospital.
Pájara firefighters secured the accident vehicle, buggy type, and collaborated in the transfer on a stretcher of the affected woman to the ambulance.
