The Poppadums were excellent, but I cannot honestly say they were the best I have ever tasted, nonetheless excellent, the chutneys were, without doubt, some of the best I have ever tasted, the Nan bread again was excellent my Lamb Biryani was very good and with more lamb, than I would have expected however my wife's chicken , and I quote  " it is like chewing cord " and looking at it certainly looked fibrous, the wine well if Sarsons had had a hand in making it I would not have been surprised.

Amazing that the lamb was good— we had the chicken because of the toughness of the lamb from another Indian we had at home! Whatever you do, you can be sure it'll be wrong...  

Will try the lamb when we're back again next time.

The chicken on the island actually seems to fall into one of two categories: lovely, or downright terrible. Bought some chicken legs from Mercadona two weeks ago and they were impossible to chew. Even the cat wouldn't have them! This week's were perfectly fine, so I guess it's pot luck?

To be perfectly honest Ducks we never/rarely buy meat in Mercadona, we either use Spar or Hyperdinoo

... very nicely decorated, although not in an Indian Theme, it from the decor could have been anything from Spanish to chines to Italian etc.

Exactly, remove the etched windows and you can use it as anything.

It’s hard to beat aromas in the white center for being consistently good. Not the cheapest but the food is good.
