The chicken on the island actually seems to fall into one of two categories: lovely, or downright terrible. Bought some chicken legs from Mercadona two weeks ago and they were impossible to chew. Even the cat wouldn't have them! This week's were perfectly fine, so I guess it's pot luck?

To be perfectly honest Ducks we never/rarely buy meat in Mercadona, we either use Spar or Hyperdinoo

It’s hard to beat aromas in the white center for being consistently good. Not the cheapest but the food is good.
