Soil/Manure in large quantities
#1
If you have a large area/raised bed etc needing good soil there is a guy in Lajares who supplies it. I have a mix of equal parts of soil/sand/goat manure (as recommended by Happy Plants who use this guy). Manure is produced by his own goats who are bedded in straw. I had a lorry load the other day, no idea of m3 I'm afraid, but it made a big pile! 280€ delivered to Tindaya.

Miguel: 619 045 463 or 682 480 844
Miguel only speaks Spanish so practice what you need to say or WhatsApp him, copying and pasting from a translation! He's a lovely guy.

I've been trying to do an estimate today Sam and I came to the conclusion it was about 8 m3, so you're spot on!

Which goes to confirm the old saying ''Where there's muck, there's brass''   Wink

That's an impressive pile and probably full of creepy-crawly wildlife too Tamara.

Haven't seen any creepy crawlies yet but my dog thinks it's her personal playground - yuck!  Big Grin

I would check your dog for 'stowaways' when she comes in the house Tamara ..... and definitely don't let her sleep on your bed   Confused

As the owner of two horses (Mrs GF's and Ms GF's) we never go short of manure for the allotment - in fact, to confirm another old saying,  you can have too much of a good thing and it can be a problem to get rid of at times.
