Hi, as a future investor in Fuerteventura I read concerning reports of squatters occupying empty rental properties in Caleta de Fuste and to add insult to injury it appears to be an uninsurable problem.
Any news or updates would appreciated.

It does happen occasionally, but it is not a major issue, in the years we have been here i have known of 2/3 incidents all in the centre of Caleta, can I ask where you are reading these reports?

I would agree with JohnR, in the last 2 years there have been only a couple of squatter reports that I can recall.

Thank you for your reply, I did a simple google search, various reports listed from 2020 to Sept 2021 are detailed.
