Good morning all.
Just wanted to raise your awareness of the squatter problem in the whole of Spain and which is becoming more prevalent in the Canaries. There are lots of good articles on the internet, which include advice on what to do if your property is occupied. I will try and post some links later in the week.
A holiday home in a community in El Cotillo was broken into last week and is now occupied. I am told that there is also another property in a different community in Cotillo that has been recently occupied.
Not a lot of time to post detail here today, but I hope to post some links to information and to share some knowledge in due course (it is still early days in the learning curve).
