She is the ferry that usually sails the Las Palmas to Huelva route as we have been on her 3 times so far and were due to sail on her 23/3 back to Huelva, but as our journey was classed as non essential our tickets have now been changed to open tickets for as and when we can return to the UK.
It will be currently used for the inter island trips carrying essential passengers & cargo, we watched it being loaded at Huelva last
September and I would say 30+ artics / containers got loaded.

Give it six months Robbo and unfortunately, it will all be forgotten, some people will be more aware of their responsibility to the planet, but the vast majority of humanity will continue where they left off, how many businesses especially on the Island will survive is another question, my heart tells me it will be a different and better world, but my brain does not agree sadly.

The Ciudad de Palma, the ship that does the weekly Cadiz to the Islands ferry service missed us out last night, went straight from Las Palmas to Arrecife, hopefully, more evidence of no one traveling.

I know there was some scepticism of what you see on Facebook by some of you but I have been on FB since 2009, I joined as part of my work in Tourism Marketing. There are a number of group pages that are well moderated and do post information the is checked and supported by copies of government posts such as Brits in Spain.
