Tenerife and Fuerteventura , level 3; Gran Canaria, level 2; Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro, level 1.

Fue staying on 3, but GC going down to 2?! Bold choice.

Wearing masks is still place when indoors in a public place (unless sitting down eating or drinking), or outdoors if social distancing can’t be maintained, drinking in public places is not permitted, nor is smoking on terraces of hospitality venues. Dancing is still not allowed.

The Level 1 restrictions are:

General Capacity: 100% outdoors and 75% indoors for bars restaurants and nightlife venues, however, seating must be spaced apart with 2 metres between chairs of adjacent tables.

Group Size: 12 people may meet in private (at people’s houses) or in public (indoors and outdoors), and may sit together in hospitality or nightlife venues, indoors or outdoors.

Closing times: Maximum closing time is extended to 3am for commercial businesses if their licence allows it, and 4am for nightlife (Clubs, discos etc).

Events in theatres, auditoriums and cinemas with fixed seating: These are called ‘Cultural Events’ not Mass Events’ due to the facilities they are taking place in. 75% of the capacity may be used (if spacing allows), but seats must be pre-assigned, masks must be worn, and 1.5 metre spacing between groups must be maintained, and no food or drink is allowed.

Public Shows in temporary or demountable facilities: This includes sports, concerts, music Events etc, which are taking place in facilities that aren’t usually designated for that activity, e.g. Exhibition Centres, Marquees, or outdoor stages put up especially.
The capacities for these are as follows:
Outdoors – 75% seated without food or drink, or 50% standing without food or drink.
Indoors – 50% seated without food or drink, NO standing allowed.
For these Events people must be seated or standing in their groups 1.5 metres from others, alcohol is not allowed to be sold or consumed, smoking is not allowed indoors or outdoors.

Live entertainment and karaoke: Both are allowed but only in designated performance areas with audience members seated at least 2 metres from the stage. Performers must wear masks if less than 2 metres apart and karaoke singers must wear masks when singing.

Shopping Centres: 100% capacity outdoors, 75% capacity in shops.

Tourist accommodation common areas: 100% capacity outdoors, 75% capacity indoors.

Markets: 100% capacity if held outdoors, 75% capacity if held indoors.

Churches, weddings and funerals: 100% capacity outdoors, 75% capacity indoors. Cremations may only have a maximum of 5 people. At weddings, open bar service is not allowed at the reception, and only the bride and groom may have a first dance. No further dancing is allowed.

Tourist guided activities: maximum of 50 people.

Campsites: Camping is permitted in maximum groups of 12 people, but non-cohabitants may not sleep in the same tent or caravan.

Outdoor swimming pools: 75% of capacity.

Jacuzzis/hydromassage pools: 100% capacity outdoors, 75% capacity indoors.

Beaches: 100% capacity with spacing between groups, maximum groups of 12 people.

Pleasure boats: 100% capacity on deck.

Sports activities: 100% capacity outdoors and 75% capacity indoors may be used for the public watching sports activities, and for people using sports facilities and gyms. However, masks must be used for all physical activity indoors and outdoors, group activities are a maximum of 12 people, and no sparring or combat sports with 2-metre distancing are allowed.
