Subsidies for renewables and purchase of electric vehicles.
The Ministry of Industry, Energy, Commerce, Crafts and Classified Activities directed by Domingo Pérez, "opens the call for subsidies for energy self-consumption in private homes, as well as the production of domestic hot water through photovoltaic panels in homes," they say in a press release.
There is also a line for the purchase of pure electric vehicles, actions for the improvement of energy efficiency in lighting installations in small and medium-sized companies; and, finally, self-consumption of livestock and agricultural farms.
The call was open since February 24, since it was published in the Official Gazette of the province of Las Palmas the day before. The deadline to apply for these grants ends on March 23, 2022.
The president of the Cabildo, Sergio Lloret wants to emphasize "the need to get this call to all citizens, so that no one who wants to obtain these aids is left out", and affirms "that the council will do everything possible so that everyone who requests the subsidy, can obtain it, helping with the paperwork or increasing with remnant the amounts destined to these aids, so that each and every request is covered."
The Minister of Industry and Energy, Domingo Pérez, points out that "with these lines of subsidies, we intend to help anyone who bets on renewable energy and sustainability, either in their own home, with the installation of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption, or in a livestock or agricultural farm, or the acquisition of a pure electric vehicle, being the amount of the same up to 4,000 euros. With this we continue with the line of this ministry of betting on sustainability and clean energy".
On the other hand "it should be noted that the Cabildo will hold a series of talks so that anyone who has doubts about these subsidies can solve them and access the aid."
