The price of Heinz Baked Beans!

Has anyone else noticed the price has shot up? I paid around 70 cents last week in Mercadona, a friend saw them there yesterday at 1.75€! I thought it must be a mistake, but they were the same price in the British shop in Lanzarote today. I know prices are rising but this is ridiculous

Tamara not sure if you had seen in the British press about a row between Heinz and Tesco about Heinz price increases on most of their products, Heinz baked beans in the UK have been over £1.40 for a while.
It could be Mercadona had had a very large cheaper shipment in the past and the latest shipment is at the new Heinz prices.
