Much as this is beautiful, it's making my computer sound like it's about to take off every time I open the forum!
Is there any way to control this at user level? I'd really appreciate the ability to disable it without spoiling the fun for everyone.

The snow isn't a problem for me (using Google Chrome).

No problems on any device I use. Ducks, maybe a cockroach got into your machine?

Don't get Ducks started Archer! He/she might ditch their computer and therefore the forum!
They remind me of thunderbugs. I had a new work laptop some years ago and within days it had been colonised by thunderbugs - I recall a wonderful phone call to our Helpdesk to report the issue, it still makes me chuckle now although at the time I became very frustrated at their inability to take me seriously!
Personally I could do without the snowflakes but I'll go along with whatever the general consensus is. I'm using IE sometimes, Edge at others - they don't seem to be causing any technical issues for me.

No problem here other than the guy looking at the screen had a minor meltdown when he saw them first
