Toddler or kids free indoor activities in Caleta
#1
Our Miss Fluffy, being 2yo loves rhyme time, reading books and similar activities, provided by the local libraries in the UK. Are there similar activities in Caleta or near? I know about the playgrounds that are usually kept in very good condition, just thinking if there are some indoor activities we can visit on a weekly basis. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't even know if there are any libraries in Caleta. I believe I've seen one in Puerto (Charco?), never have been inside though. Thank you.

There are two public libraries in Puerto del Rosario - one at the Congress Center and the other near the Sagrado Corazon high school.

Books are available on certain days at the cultural center in Caleta de Fuste. It's opposite the bus station.

The cultural center in Caleta, right across from the bus station, gets books on certain days—just pop in and ask. For rhyme time, check with them directly since they might run a local session for little ones like the UK ones you miss.

The cultural center in Caleta is your best bet for weekly indoor sessions, so definitely ask there about toddler storytime. If you ever need to burn off extra energy at home, I picked up a great one at trampolines for sale, and it’s been a lifesaver for rainy afternoons. For now, check the center’s board for times, and don’t overlook the library in Puerto del Rosario for borrowing picture books to bring back with you.
