Yes you can drive her, assuming she is a non- driver and she sits in the rear nearside seat and you have your appointment letter with you as proof of your journey. 

Do check that the appointment is still on, as many outpatient appointments are being cancelled with phone call check ups instead.

Having looked at it more closely, I am not sure the translation is not the problem, it is the article itself that  is badly written? maybe The Captain can give us his assessment?
