I need to find a better way to have water rather than lugging severa 8L water bottles from Mercadona every week.
I asked around in Ideal and Tiendaelectron in Puerto when I was in the area earlier today - neither had them.
I did find a "under sink" filtration system but at almost €200 I think I'll wait a bit longer.
Can anyone recomend any shops in the north who sell the Britta (or similar) systems and more importantly... the refils?

Search for a post from “Sir Real” he posted a couple of months back about this & I also seem to remember Tamara saying something connected a few months ago.
One thing I don’t understand about water filtration on the island is this. I thought that the desalinated water was bacteriologically fine but tasted awful due to “extra” minerals being removed during the process. I can’t then see how filtration helps any as it doesn’t add minerals etc, or am I completely off the mark (or my head) 😂🤣😂🤣

You're right of course Spitfire. Filtered, I still don't particularly like the stuff and continue with bottled. Aguacana deliver to the house every week, never miss, totally reiiable. An 8lt bottle is €1.50 delivered.

Thanks for all the tips!
I am a bit worried about investing in some serious filter system to end up with crap tasting water....
I prefer sparkling but my wife drinks still...
I did get a contact number for Agua de Teror who do deliveries to my street... but their prices are almost 2x Mercadona prices...
Ill pass the info onto the boss so she can decide
