How did it not rain today in Tindaya?

  

we finally got a short burst of sun late in the day



Cold, all day, but not as much wind as I was expecting.

Good morning from Caleta where yesterday was very much as forecast, we had a shower of rain over night at about 2am

This morning at 7.40 18C but in the strong wind feels much cooler, a cloudy grey sky but the sun has made a brief appearance.

                  

                  

Today's forecast - 

A mainly cloudy day with the possibility of rain during the day, the shade temperature will get up to 21C at 1pm and the UV Factor could reach 3 about midday.
Wind will be the dominate feature today coming from the NE all day at 33 to 39 kmph with gusts up to 57 kmph this afternoon, another day for battening down the hatches.

It has not been as cloudy as forecast, a very few spots of rain late morning, it has been windy but nice and warm in the sun out of the wind.

You've had a better day than us. Froze in el Matorral, froze in La Hondura, froze in Tindaya, didn't see the sun until a little bit late afternoon!

Good morning from Caleta where it is rather grey with the sunrise blocked out by a bank of cloud to the east, 17C out of the wind that seems much stronger than in the video I posted.  By 7.50 the sun has got up above the cloud bank.

                                  

   

Today's forecast -

Firstly there is a YELOW COASTAL WARNING for rough seas and for the Western Canary Islands for WIND as well.

Cloud to clear by 10am to leave a sunny day with no rain forecast, shade temperature to get up to 22C at 1pm and the UV Factor will reach 4 at midday.

Wind will dominate again today from the NE at 30 to 35 kmph with gusts up to 46 kmph this morning and 44 kmph this afternoon.

Not quite as good as forecast but still OK out of the wind, the sea has been rough, currently 21c at 5.40pm and the wind is still blowing

Off to golf at 7.40am so an early good morning from Caleta where at 6.40 it is 17C out of the wind that has eased slightly but still breezy so feels quite cool, a lot of cloud overhead.

Good morning from Caleta, where IMO yesterday was not as good as forecast as the cloud didn't clear as much as forecast, it did however remain windy.

This morning at 7.30am a bit cooler at 15C with only a light breeze, a few high clouds over head and a bank of cloud out to the east blocking the sunrise, a little condensation.

                          

Today's forecast -

Similar to yesterday the cloud should clear mid morning to give a sunny day with no rain forecast, shade temperature to get up 21C from 1pm through until 5pm, with the UV Factor reach 4 at midday.

Wind E / NE direction at 10 to 15 kmph all day with gusts up to 26 kmph this afternoon.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday very much as forecast a lovely day for Tetir Christmas Market.

                          

                           

This morning at 7.30am 14C, a clear sky overhead and hardly a breath of wind, I can't remember seeing as much condensation as there is this morning it has formed a puddle on the hot tub cover.

Wind from a northerly direction this morning at 13 to 15 kmph with gusts up to 24 kmph at lunchtime moving to come from the E this afternoon at 13 to 15 kmph with gusts of 20 kmph.
