Weird it is very calm here in Caleta Tamara, hardly a breath of wind, and you would have thought geographically it would have to pass us to get to you?

Good morning from Caleta, had a couple of days with some UK friends down in Morro Jable where the Weather has been quite pleasant, chilly in the breeze as the sun went down on Thursday evening.  On arrival back in Caleta yesterday afternoon it was a very hazy sun and light breeze, at sunset I would have said we were having a Calima as it was so hazy.

                          

This morning at 7.40 it is 15C with a light breeze hazy sky for the sunrise as can be seen in the photos.

Today's forecast -

A sunny day with the shade temperature getting up to 23C at 3pm with the UV Factor reaching 4 at midday.

Wind from a South Easterly direction this morning at 13 to 15 kmph with gusts up to 26 kmph moving to come from the SW this afternoon at 13 to 17 kmph with gusts up to 28 kmph.

You're right John, we've been in a calima for a few days now. The wind over Tindaya way subsided for an hour yesterday afternoon but it's been full strength again overnight and still blowing a hooley this morning.
The Skiron forecast doesn't see us clear of the calima for a few more days yet.

Wind from a South Westerly direction this morning at 11 to kmph with gusts up to 30 kmph moving to come from the S this afternoon at 20 to 26 kmph with gusts up to 41 kmph.

Good morning again, 8.15am update -

Well there is a lot more cloud about than forecast when the sun appears it is quite warm.

At 7.45am it was 15C but felt much cooler, hardly a breath of wind and a lot of condensation.

Well it has not rained up here John   at least not yet, but cloudy it is
