What's the weather like? - December 2021

Well at least one of the forecasts was right in that yesterday the cloud did reduce by about 2pm to give a nice sunny afternoon.

                                  

This morning at 7.40 it is 18C, grey and overcast with full cloud cover and hardly a breath of wind

                           

Today's forecast -

The forecasts differ slightly again one saying cloudy morning and partly sunny afternoon the other saying cloud to clear by 10am and it to be sunny for the rest of the day, it is going to be a warm one with the shade temperature getting up to 25C mid-afternoon with a UV Factor of 4 at midday.

Wind from the NE / E this morning moving to come from the SE this afternoon at 6 to 9 kmph with gusts up to 17 kmph all day.

Definitely very hazy today

A beautiful day despite the haze. It was very, very windy around 6am but after an hour it died away to nothing.
The sun set behind Gran Canaria today - it probably has for a while but cloud on the horizon has been blocking the sight. You can see where GC is - it cuts off the bottom right edge of the sun

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday was very much as forecast a nice day but very hazy.

                  

                           

This morning at 7.45 13C so feeling cool, clear but hazy sky, not a breath of wind with a flat calm sea, a little condensation and a great sunrise.

                                   

                           

Today's forecast -

A sunny day with shade temperature getting up to 24 / 25C from midday through until 5pm, the UV factor will reach 4 at 12 noon.

Wind - starting from the WNW moving S by 1pm and from the S / SE this afternoon speeds today 13 to 19 kmph with gusts up to 28 kmph easing this evening down to 7 kmph.

Good morning on the last day of 2021.

Yesterday was as forecast a sunny warm, some may say hot, day, a few thin white clouds, but very little wind, at 6pm there wasn't a breath of wind the palms were absolutely still.

                   

                   

The electronic thermometer I use has 2 sensors the unit it's self on the wall which is in the shade out of the wind giving the top temperature and the remote unit (the little black box on the settee arm) which is usually in the sun giving the bottom temperature,

          

This morning at 7.45am the colour in the clouds from the sunrise was fantastic, 13C hardly any wind, a little condensation.  As I type this at 8.45 it is sunny and the temperature has already got to 16C.

                  

                   

                   

Today's forecast -

Another sunny day with the shade temperature getting up to 24C at 3pm, the UV Factor will reach 4 at midday.

Wind from thw NW this morning at 6 to 9 kmph moving S / SE from 1pm at 11 to 13 kmph with gusts up to 20 kmph early to mid-afternoon easing early evening back to less than 6 kmph.
