An early start as out to golf by 7.20 this morning golfing. Yesterday very much as forecast with plenty of sun and possibly less wind than forecast.

           

               

This morning at 6.30 only 12C so feeling quite fresh, clear starry sky overhead and a light breeze.

A mostly sunny day becoming mostly cloudy at 6pm, no rain forecast on Accuweather but AEMet give a 75% chance of rain in PDR this evening, shade temperature getting up to 23C at 2pm, UV factor to reach 4 at midday, humidity to average 57%, cloud ceiling 9100mts during the day dropping to 800mts at 6pm, air quality fair and visibility good at 16Km+

Wind from a generally Northwesterly direction all day at 9 to 19Kmph with gusts up to 33Kmph.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday much as forecast a very pleasant day once the cloud reduced about 10.30am.

               

This morning at 7.30am 15C a lot of cloud to the north and east, hardly a breath of wind and some condensation.

Well the two forecasts I look at differ Accuweather say a partly sunny day with no rain and AEMET a mainly cloudy day with a 50% chance of rain this morning and a 75% chance this afternoon, take your choice, shade temperature to get up to 24C at 1pm with the UV factor reaching 4 at midday when the sun is out, humidity to average 63%, air quality fair, cloud ceiling the usual 9100mts and visibility good at 16Km+

Wind from the NNW all day at 9 to 17Kmph this morning increasing this afternoon at 17 to 20Kmph with gusts up to 35Kmph.

This morning at 6.45am 15C, clear starry sky directly overhead but some cloud all around, a light breeze and a lot of condensation.

Wind starting out coming from the WNW for a few hours then moving slowly to come from the N by 1pm and NE by 5pm, speeds today light at 6 to 9KMmph with gusts up to 17Kmph.

Good morning from a damp Caleta, yesterday a good number of rain showers, when the sun did appear it was warm.

           

As mentioned we have just had a good shower of rain here on Fuerteventura Golf, 16C dull grey cloudy sky and only a light breeze.

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mostly cloudy day with up to a 55% chance of rain this morning and a 20% chance this afternoon, shade temperature to get up to 24C for 3 hours from 1pm, UV factor to reach 4 at midday if and when the sun appears, humidity to average 67%, cloud ceiling 500mts this morning increasing to 9100mts this afternoon, visibility poor this morning at 8Km increasing as the day goes on to the usual 16Km+ late afternoon early evening and air quality fair.

Wind from the WNW to start at 9 to 11Kmph moving W during the morning to come from the SW by 10am for the rest of the day at 15 to 24Kmph with gusts up to 50Kmph.

A little late good morning from Caleta today.  Yesterday we had a heavy shower of rain just after 8am but by 8.40 it had cleared up nicely to give a mix of sun and cloud for the rest of the day with a nice colourful sunset, the wind did pick up from the SW during the afternoon and it has been windy overnight.

This morning we had a heavy shower of rain around 7am by 8.45 it has cleared nicely to be already 22C in the shade and 24C in the sun, bank of cloud to the west and the wind has eased to light breeze.

           

Today's Caleta forecast -

The cloud is to increase to give a mostly cloudy day from 10am with a shade temperature high of 25C at 1pm, the UV factor will reach no more that 2 today, humidity to average 62%, cloud ceiling currently 10400mts reducing to 9100mts at 10am for the rest of the day, air quality fair and visibility at 11 to 16Km.

Wind from the SW during the day moving to come from the NW early evening, light at 9 to 13Kmph with gusts up to 30Kmph around lunchtime.

5pm update with photos, a very pleasant afternoon nice and warm in the sun and very little wind, the wind direction did change mid-afternoon as the planes were taking off to the south until about 3pm and then reverted to landing from the south.
