This morning at 8am 18C the Calima is still with us and I can't see the harbour, there is a moderate wind.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday we were out and about touring with ex work colleagues and had a very pleasant day with a good mix of sun and cloud, it did feel cool out of the sun and when the sun went down up in Corralejo it was very chilly.

This morning at 6.30am a very cool 10C, clear starry sky and a moderate breeze.

Today's Caleta forecast -

As Tamara has indicated there is a YELLOW WARING in place for a storm and rain from 9am through until 8pm.

The AccuWeather forecast for Caleta only gives up to a 7% chance of rain from 1pm for 5 hours so a day of sun & cloud is forecast, cloud cover maximum of 70% at 2pm rest of day less than 30%, shade temperature to get up to only 19C at 2pm with the UV factor reaching 5 between 11an and 2pm when the sun is out, humidity to average 61%, cloud ceiling 9100mts, air quality fair and visibility very good at 16Km+

Wind from the NNW at 13 to 17Kmph with gust up to 30Kmph this morning moving to come from the NE this afternoon at 20 to 22Kmph with gusts up to 35Kmph.

Sunrise - 7.31am
Sunset - 6.47pm

Good morning from Caleta where at 7.40 we have the sunrising in the east but is raining and we have a rainbow to the SW, 11C and a light breeze.  I golfed early yesterday and as we were playing the 10th we had a short heavy shower of rain but those in front of us on the 12th had nothing so the showers are very random and localised.

Today's forecast -

The forecasts are a nightmare at the moment, AccuWeather say no rain today the BBC say sun and showers all day and AEMet for Puerto del Rosario gives a 20% chance of rain this morning and 85% this afternoon.

Shade temperature high of 21C at 2pm with the UV factor reaching 5 ast 11am when the sun is out, humidity to average 65%, cloud ceiling 9100mts this morning dropping to 800 to 2000mts midday to 5pm then returning to 9100mts, air quality fair and visibility very good at 16Km+

Wind from the S this morning at 7 to 11Kmph moving to come from the WNW this afternoon 13 to 19 Kmph with gusts up to 22Kmph.
