Absolutely glorious here in Corralejo.

I went for a drive to the dunes about an hour ago and it was a spectacular view.

Ive even seen a few tumbleweeds flying all over the place Smile

Worst is yet to come though.

Morning from Caleta where it is a bit calmer this morning, the high winds persisted until about 5am and we still keep having squally showers.  A nice rainbow at 8.30am

The Weather warning is still in place for a 40 to 70% chance winds up to 80Kmph until 4pm and coastal warning until 8pm -

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mix of sun, cloud and wind today, shade temperature to get up to 21C at midday with the UV factor reaching 4 at the same time, there is a 90% chance of rain at various times throughout the day.

Wind has moved to come from the W this morning at 33 to 48Kmph and from the NW by 3pm for the rest of the afternoon and evening at 30 to 35Kmph.

Tide, sunrise and sunset times -

Wind from the WNW this morning at 17 to 28Kmph before moving slightly N to come from the NNW at 1pm for the afternoon and early evening, speeds increasing at 30Kmph with gust up to 37Kmph.
