Good morning from Caleta, yesterday very much as forecast a nice sunny day with the strongest wind we have had for over a fortnight

This morning at 7.30am it was 14C with a few high scattered clouds, the sky was hazy, a light breeze from the south and a little of condensation.

4pm update - there is definitely a Calima, wind from generally the south not as strong as forecast, shade temperature currently 25c and 29c in the sun.

The wind is very strong on the west side of the island! Noticeable when I drove across island at lunchtime, calmed down after La Matilla going towards puerto, reverse when I drove back, felt like car was being pushed around by the winds on the bends in the mountains between La Matilla and Tindaya.

Good morning from Caleta, as reported much as forecast, here in Caleta we were obviously protected from the wind by the hills based on Tamara's report.

This morning at 7.45am it was 14C with  high layer of what look like thin clouds giving a hazy sky, not a breath of wind and no condensation.

Good morning, from Caleta.
Yesterday: A very strange day for the middle of January, as reported by WG. “ at 7.15am it was an unbelievable 24C a fair amount of cloud, a light warm wind from the south and no condensation” At 09:00 it remained at 24c but the cloud had increased and it looked very Grey indeed, surprisingly by 10:00 the sky started to brighten, not clear, and by 11:30 it was 26C. At 15:30 we had circa 90% cloud cover, and it was a very very nice afternoon, and it was still 23C at 19:30.

Today: at 08:45 the temperature is 17C with a Westerly wind 3/5Kph, with no cloud but a hazy sky.
Forecast:- Temperature to reach 23c by midday, the wind to move S/westerly and increase slightly 7/9KPH, and a 25% chance of rain this afternoon.

UV: currently 1 to reach 4 by midday
Pressure: 1018 Mb.
Air quality: Fair
Humidity: 73%.
Cloud Ceiling: 12,200 mtrs.
