I think it was just fog but it was very dramatic watching Caleta vanish from view up the hill. It has now rolled back out to sea.

Yesterday: A slightly better day than forecast the temperatures reaching 24c around 13:00, and no sign of the promised rain, although it did cloud over circa 15:00, and it appeared as if it would rain, but it came to nothing, however, around 17:00, what I can only assume to have been sea mist { there was nothing on the Skirid Chart to suggest an increased intensity in the light Calima that is in place } came rolling in and by 18:30 visibility was down to 250/350 metres, by 23:30 it had cleared as quickly as it had appeared
Today: at 07:45 the temperature is 17C with a Westerly wind 5/7Kph, with 50% cloud cover mostly over the sea to the East and over the hills, with some lighter scattered cloud overhead.

Forecast:- Temperature to reach 23c by midday, the wind to remain Westerly and increase slightly 7/9KPH, and a 1% chance of rain this afternoon.

UV: currently 1 to reach 2 by midday.

Good afternoon, from Caleta.
I have to be out early tomorrow so will not be posting, as usual. So this is the best I can achieve this afternoon.
Today has been much as forecast, with the exception of the predicted rain, the temperature reached 23c around 13:00 and there has been little or no rain.
Tomorrow's forecast, a sunny morning with temperatures in the range 20/22c, the cloud to increase slightly from late morning maximum temperature 23c early afternoon wind to be S/westerly early morning 7/9KPH and move Westerly 11/13KPh again early afternoon.
There is still a probability of thunderstorms for the weekend, but the consensus is that it will be concentrated on the west coast.

Today. - At 08:00 we had a temperature of 16c with a Northerly wind of 15/20KPH and 35% cloud cover.

Forecast:- A windy day with the temperature reaching 22c by early afternoon, the wind is to move N/Easterly and increase to 28/30KPH gusting over 50KPH, and the cloud cover to increase to 48/50%, with a £5 chance of rain this afternoon.

Yesterday. - Much as forecast maybe the wind did not strengthen as much as forecast but it was a breezy day.


Today. - At 08:00 we had a temperature of 18c felt more like 14/15 in the wind which was with N/N/Easterly 28/30KPH and 85/90% cloud cover.

Forecast:- Another windy day with the temperature reaching 22c by early afternoon, the wind is forecast to remain N/N/Easterly, and increase to 32/34KPH.The cloud cover is forecast to reduce to around 40/45% with no rain forecast for today.
