Good morning from Caleta, a tad jaded this morning as last night we went to a New Half Year Party to say goodbye to the half year I am sure many of us wish to forget and say hello to the next half year we all hope will be better.

Yesterday June went out as forecast the cloud cleared mid morning and it was lovely afternoon and evening.

This morning at 7am another grey cloudy start, 20C and the wind has dropped to a strong breeze.

Today's Caleta forecast -

Cloud to reduce by midday to leave another sunny afternoon and evening, the shade temperature to get up to 27C at 4pm, with the usual EXTREME HIGH UV factor of 12 at 1pm, humidity to average 72% today so another humid day.

Wind from the NNE at 22 to 28 Kmph all day with gusts up to 32 Kmph later this afternoon.

Today & tomorrows tide, sunrise & sunset times -

There was heavy rain between 2.20 and 2.35am - it woke me up. I wondered what the noise was.

Yes we are having a Calima, I didn't mention it in the report yesterday as neither of the two forecasts i look at indicated it, strangely Calimas usually come on winds from the E or more likely SE but this is on winds from the NNE / NE, the photos show how hazy it is and the sand on the car that came down with the rain is testament to a Calima, no cleaning outside until it has finished in about 3 days time.

This morning at 7.20am hazy sun rise, some condensation on the car, windy and 19C

Today's Caleta forecast -

What cloud there currently is will burn away by 11am to leave a sunny day and evening, shade temperature to get up to 28C from 2pm to 5pm with the usual EXTREME HIGH UV factor of 12 at 1pm, the humidity average will be 65% today.

Wind from the NNE all day with speeds this morning of 28 to 35 Kmph increasing this afternoon and evening at 35 to 37 Kmph with gusts up to 41 Kmph

Sunsets are looking much like sunrises at the moment:

So cold in the evenings! The gales are NE or NNE and so humid after dark that you get very damp and chilly. Humidity was over 80% by 7pm this evening and didn't drop below 50% all day.
