Yellow warning Saturday between 3AM & 9AM.

Strong North-East wind with waves up to 5 meters (15 feet) high. Be careful tomorrow morning at the coast, please.

YES IT IS WINDY and based on the forecasts I have seen it continues at 45 to 50 KMPH (27 to 31mph) until 8pm Saturday evening, I suspect there will be many gusts stronger than those speeds forecast.

All over the place  - Thursday

Very breezy, lots of sun in the morning, more cloud in the afternoon, poured down in Tindaya at midnight and again at 6am Friday. A few other spots of rain around.

Tindaya - Friday

Windy, windy, windy and pretty wet at times! Rain a lot of the night especially at midnight and 6am, odd showers in between. Some sun today but mainly cloud. Pretty chilly unless in a totally sheltered spot when the sun broke through.

I have a friend currently on a ferry, Gran Canaria to Huelva (48 hours), it is pretty rough! They have had to make a detour (?) and will be late docking by 2-3 hours, just what the passengers wanted to hear! Don't think her dog is best chuffed either  Thumbs Down  It had already been sick on the crossing from Morro Jable to GC Thursday morning. Sick

Good morning from a very windy Caleta, yesterday much as forecast.

A bit late this morning and will I be brief due to a late night or should I say early morning to bed  Wink Wink

Sun and cloud today with temperature up to 21C at 3pm but a previously mentioned it is the wind that will dominate today, from the NNE 45 to 50Km per hour or in English 27 to 31mph, I think it is gusting stronger than that at the moment, should ease by late this evening.

Photos later.

Tindaya - Saturday

Wind, wind and more wind - no let up at all. Northerly all day, moved more to East late afternoon. More sun than yesterday so it wasn't quite as chilly

OH YES IT WAS WINDY YESTERDAY

FB video I took on the front during my afternoon walk -

This morning at 7.15am 14C grey cloud and still fairly windy, no condensation.

Todays Caleta forecast - Well both forecasts I have looked at say sunny all day with max cloud cover of 7% now???,  temperature to reach 23C at 2pm with a UV factor of 7 at mid-day, humidity averaging 65% today and visibility good at 16km+
Wind from the NNE / NE all day 14 to 16mph

Tindaya and Tetir - Sunday

Still breezy but a bright, sunny start. By the time I got to Tetir around 11am the breeze had eased a bit and it was a beautiful day. Don't remember any clouds. Wind moved around between E and N - it has just started roaring again! Visibility not too brilliant, neither Betancuria range or the sea appeared properly out of the haze. The sun disappeared into a bank of haze rather than setting.

Good morning from Caleta yesterday was about 4 hours out in its forecast as the cloud didn't clear until lunchtime and then it was very hazy, we like Tamara went to Tetir for the market and must have missed each other by only minutes.  Its was so hazy when driving North you couldn't see Lanzarote from the south end of the dunes.

There is a Calima warning for today.

This morning at 8am the wind has dropped to a light breeze, mix of sun and cloud, a little condensation on the roof terrace floor, 15C.

Todays Caleta forecast - The cloud is to clear by 11am to leave a sunny afternoon, temperature to reach 23C at 2pm with a UV Factor of 7 at mid-day, humidity averaging 68% today with visibility at 16km but with a Calima I doubt it.
Wind from the NNW this morning 6 to 10mph moving NE from 12noon increasing to 16mph at 5pm.
