Much as forecast yesterday with cloud clearing to leave a nice sunny afternoon, Calima didn't appear to be as heavy as forecast.

Todays Caleta forecast - Cloud to clear by 11am to leave a nice sunny afternoon, temperature to reach 22C between 2pm and 5pm with a UV factor of up to 7 at mid-day, humidity averaging 70% today and the visibility as usual at 16km+
Wind from the NE all day at 10 to 14mph moving N at 8pm

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday much as forecast  a great afternoon and evening.

                     

This morning at 7am / 7.20am a nice start to the day, a light breeze no condensation, very few light clouds, 14C.

                     

Todays Caleta forecast - a mix of sun and cloud, there is currently forecast to be 35% cloud cover reducing as the day progresses   they have that wrong already, temperature to reach 22Cby 2pm feel like 24C, UV factor of up to 7 at mid-day, humidity averaging 70% today with the regular 16km+ visibility.
Wind from the NNW this morning 8 to 10mph moving N and then NE from 12noon for the afternoon increasing to 17mph at 6pm.

This morning is very grey and overcast, windy, no condensation and 16C at 7.45am.

               

Todays Caleta forecast - A cloud day varying from current 75% down to 38% at 10am and back to 91% by 6pm so little sun all day, temperature up to 21C from 1pm to 5pm but even with the cloud there will be a UV factor of up to 7 at mid-day, humidity averaging 75% today and visibility the regular 16km+
Wind from the NE all day 12 to 16mph so fairly breezy

Weds - Corralejo & Tindaya

Roundabout at end of motorway, near the Football ground, is getting a makeover. Lovely day, plenty of blue sky and sun with just a few little clouds around.

around teatime the cloud started to increase and had a funny purplish tinge, a few spots of rain just after sunset (blink and miss rain!)

  the ravens returning to roost before the sun set.

Tindaya - Thursday

A gorgeous sunny day with a light breeze, N or NE - the breeze had a bit of chill in it though and by 5.30pm the temperature had gone out of the day and it was multi layers on for dog walking. A lot of light, wispy cloud today.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday not as forecast it was much better, the heavy grey cloud disappeared by mid-day to leave the odd high white wispy cloud and a very nice sunny afternoon.

                           

This morning at 7.15am 13C, breezy and some condensation.

                     

The Caleta forecast for today - what cloud there currently is reduces during the morning to leave a clear sky for the afternoon so on the whole a sunny day in store with temperatures to reach 22c at 2pm to 4pm, a UV factor of 7 at 12noon, humidity averaging 65% today and the usual 16km+ visability.
Wind from the NNE / NE all day with speeds generally 8 to 10mph with an odd gust up to 14mph around 9am.

Corralejo and Tindaya - Friday

A gorgeous day of sunshine. At times there was little or no wind, at others there was a strong NE. Temperatures pretty good to hot.

A nice day yesterday plenty of sun the wind was gusting at times, at 6pm it was still 31C in the sun and 23C in the shade. Was up the north of the island during the afternoon and it was very hazy over to Lanzarote.

   


                                 

This morning at 7am 12C, clear sky over head but a bank of cloud out to the east that the sun is just rising behind, light breeze and a lot of condensation.

                                 

Todays Caleta forecast - A nice sunny day with a temperature of 22C between 12noon and 3pm when it will top 23C, a UV factor of  7 from 11am to 2pm, humidity averaging 65% between 9am and 5pm, the usual 16km+ visibility.
Wind from the NNW this morning 9 to 10mph moving NE from mid-day increasing slightly to 12mph

Tindaya - Friday

Another lovely day in paradise! Clear and sunny with no breeze until mid-afternoon. Very hot all day until the cooling breeze arrived. Quite hazy out to sea at times. A small amount of cloud drifted along the horizon as sunset approached. Sky was a bit washed out.
