What's the weather like? - November 2018
#61
We are near Tarajalejo. Today has probably been the best day for a week or more. No rain and now no wind at all. And nice clear sky.
This week past has rained just about everyday. Is this it, now?

IMO yesterday was again better than forecast, a lot less cloud during the morning and when the cloud did build from the NW at about 2.30pm it did not bring the rain just the odd spot of moisture, temperatures in the sun in our sheltered back reached the mid 30'sC at lunchtime.  By 7.15pm a nice clear sky so were able to see the International Space Station for 3 minutes passing SW to SE.

This morning at 6.30 14C a light breeze and quite a bit of heavy dew, high light wispy cloud to the east heavier cloud to the west over the mountains.

Todays Caleta forecast -

Cloud to build between now and 10am then reduce to leave a mix of mostly sun with some cloud, no rain forecast today,  temperature to reach 24C at 1pm with a UV factor of 4 between 11am & 2pm, humidity again averaging 65% for the day and visibility good at 16km+
Wind from the SW all day moving WSW this evening currently 7mph increasing steadily to 15mph at 2pm then decreasing as the afternoon progresses.

Thunder forecast for Thursday and Friday.

I think they got the forecast pretty much right yesterday, there were gusts of wind around 2 / 3pm stronger that the 15mph forecast.

Again got a great view of International Space Station at 6.26pm in the east passing under the moon but sorry to small to photograph with my camera.

That was bonkers! I have a dish outside for a cat I feed and it filled up with nearly an inch of water in that time. Confused

My poor builder arrived just as it was happening and ended up getting soaked. We do have hot water now, at least, but I'm sure that was no comfort to him...

The neighbours were saying tomorrow was forecast to be just as bad, but I'm seeing mostly sunshine on my feed. Can anyone concur?
