A very unusual day for Fuerteventura as it's been cloudy all day. There hasn't been any rain in Caleta but my students have reported rain in Playa Banca and Ampuyenta.

Good morning from Fuerteventura Golf, sorry to contradict Captain we certainly had a few spots of rain as we returned form Mercadona yesterday afternoon.

This morning at 7 to 7.30 a mainly clear sky overhead but a bank of cloud out to the east over the sea, 14C with some condensation.

                             

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mostly sunny day with a shade temperature high of 23C from 1pm through to 5pm, UV factor to get up to 4 from 11am to 2pm, humidity to average 66%

Wind from the WNW to start moving W from 11am then from midday to come from the S / SW for the afternoon at 7 to 17 Kmph for most of the day with gusts up to 19 Kmph.

Just 165 miles to the west of Fuerte they've had SNOW! Mt Teide on Tenerife received it's first dusting of the season a day or 2 ago. Elevation 3718m.

Meanwhile we have had a beautiful day today in Tindaya. Light cool breeze from all points of the compass, loads of sun and plenty of cloud but all in the distance.

Good morning all from Fuerteventura Golf - Caleta.  Yesterday very much as forecast a very pleasant day for golf and the golf wasn't bad either.

                     

This morning at 6.15am a nice starry sky, 7am a few clouds about and the back of cloud out to the east over the  sea, the sun had risen by 7.15am, when it was 15C with hardly a breath of wind and some light condensation.

             

                   

Today's Caleta forecast - 

Another mostly sunny day, with a shade temperature high of 25C from 12noon to 2pm, the UV factor will reach 4 from 11am to 2pm and the humidity today will average 68%

Wind from the SW this morning at 22 to 32 Kmph with gusts up to 35Kmph moving W this afternoon starting at 30 Kmph at 1pm and decreasing in strength as the afternoon progresses dropping to 11Kmph by 7pm

2pm update -  a lot more cloud than forecast plus we have had a few spots of rain, wind quite strong from SW so planes taking off over Caleta, it is nice and warm though.
