Where on the Island to buy
#1
Does any one know Where to buy dried currants on the Island, Mercadona. HiperDino and Spar sell dried Raisins dates and even Plums, but not currants ! management has in the past got them from one of the Brit shops,but apparently none available currently {no pun intended}
To me drinking responsibly means do not spill it.

Hmmm. Mercadona sell a little packet in the pre-packed fresh meat section which contains certain innards of a chicken. I'm pretty sure there is liver in there - I've used some of the contents as substitute for kidney in a steak and kidney pie.  Smile
You'd probably need quite a few packets to get enough for making pate for example.

Spar (well, Corralejo anyway) do a similar little packet, sometimes.

If anyone else has a better answer I'd be very interested as well.
