#1
I'm heading to Antigua tonight for the Drag Queen Show, does anyone know of anywhere nice for an evening meal in Antigua.

The “Bar Artesano” is quite good. We have been in there a couple of times or “Bar Mafasca” if you want more authentic/rustic Spanish, that one is also good again been in a few times. If you want to go 5 minutes down the road there are a couple of very good restaurants in Valles de Ortega (south out of Antigua & 5 minutes down the road, village is on the left). HTH, cheers . . Ron

Hi Willie.

We have always found Antigua a tad limited for a really nice meal, there are a few nice enough places for a snack or a quick drink but barring that not a lot of choice, we have a couple of friends there but only have ever eaten lunch there Todas Buenos, is OK it depends what you are looking for when you get to the T junction with the Pandaria in front of you turn right, drive past HiperDino, and take the first available left go straight on past the Medical Centre on your right, and take the first available right, you should be able to see it from where you will be then, but we as I said have only had lunch there, the other possible option is the New Chicken place, I think it is called El Rubio, or something similar, again get to the T junction, but this time turn left and it is almost immediately on your right not tried it or heard anything about it but you never know.

I remember a top chef saying if your restaurant is not fully booked on valentines night your doing something wrong.
I think it was Gordon Ramsey so he probable said f...kin wrong.  So maybe you may need to book?
