The XXXI Festival Internacional de Cometas (International Kite Festival) will take place at the Corralejo Dunes, Playa del Burro (also in the Corralejo dunes park) and at Play de la Concha in El Cotillo on the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of November 2018. See below full schedule.

OK, short notice I'm afraid, but for anyone who loves surfing there's a screening of Surf documentary films on 2, 3 and 4 November.  The screening are in the Municipal Auditorium in Corralejo.  Friday 2 November it's 9.00pm to 10.30pm.  Saturday 3 November it's 9.00pm to 10.00pm.  And on Sunday 4 November it's 8.00pm to 9.30pm.  To see some details of the films, go to https://canariassurffilmfestival.com/

The XXXII Festival Internacional de Cometas (International Kite Festival) will take place on the 7th - 10th November 2019 according to Ayuntamiento de La Oliva. Hopefully there will be a full schedule soon.

El Festival Arena Negra will be held from 31st October to 3rd November 2019 in Gran Tarajal. The dates of this year festival, funded by Cabildo de Fuerteventura and organized by the City Council of Tuineje, have been announced today Wednesday 23rd January, after the opening ceremony of Fitur (International Tourism Fair) in Madrid, by the president of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Marcial Morales, and the mayor of Tuineje, Sergio Lloret.

Paladea, a sport, music and gastronomy festival, is being held in Villaverde from 29-31 March 2019.

The 12th International Blues Festival is being held on 25 & 26 October 2019 in Corralejo.
