Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in Fuerteventura
Today I saw an article @ Diario about Bitcoin. Not going to post it here because it's unrelated to this island (at least for now) but (not only) it made me realise that cryptocurrencies will possibly be a part of our life in the future. BTC was mentioned at the phone repair shop website a couple of weeks earlier and if I recall correctly, it was about a Bitcoin ATM located in the capital.

Flight Fuerteventura to Gran Canaria
I took loads of pics on my recent trip on Binter. Please excuse the state of the windows!
We took off from FUE in a Northerly direction and then turned West shortly afterwards going over Tetir.
Coming back we flew up the West coast of the Jandia peninsular and then East across the island coming in to land from the North, unlike the more usual landings from the South.
I've uploaded almost all of the pics, some are pretty poor quality as the plane was nearly 30 minutes late on the way back, arr

Satellite caravan over Fuerteventura
At about 7.30pm today I observed a caravan of approximately 15 satellites going over Fuerte, roughly SW to NE. Amazing sight! Not sure if they stay on the same track or what their orbit time is, but worth looking out for.

Direct bus route from Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo
Came across a petition for direct bus route between the Airport and Corralejo without the need of change in Puerto. More than 600 people already signed in the past six days, help them with your signature if you have a spare minute please. I'm sure many people in Corralejo will appreciate it.

Futtoc tables in Fuerteventura
Four futtoc tables had been installed on the north side of the island: La Oliva, Corralejo, Villaverde and Lajares.

For anyone wondering what kind of sport Futtoc actually is, it simply is a crow-over between table tennis and Football, born in Barcelona (methinks).

Bicibox (repair) stations in Fuerteventura
Checking La Oliva's website today, it looks like five bicibox repair stations has been installed at five new locations: La Oliva, Villaverde, Lajares, Parque Holandes and Tindaya.

These boxes should help cyclists to quickly repair their bikes if needed.

Three of them has been installed earlier last year in Tefía, Tetir & Puerto Lajas.

Unfortunately I've never been lucky enough to see one, would be great for the rest of us if anyon
