Translated using google FuerteventuraHoy today.

This looks very good news for Fuerteventura.

The island president offers Fuerteventura as a space to apply this exceptional measure and measure its effectiveness

The president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Blas Acosta, has registered this Friday a request to the central government to make it mandatory to have a free medical certificate of COVID-19 for tourism in Spain once the health crisis is over or that, failing that , the measure is

Cost of Living in Fuerteventura
Having contemplated life and things whilst in lockdown for several weeks, I'm considering the option of taking early retirement.
Juggling around the figures, pensions & other things, I think we could possibly afford to retire next April (I'll be 56) and have an income of around €18500 per year between the two of us.

Repatriation TO Fuerteventura
One of our neighbours arrived back at their villa from the UK yesterday afternoon.

They had a health screening for temperature at Fuerteventura airport and had to fill in forms as to where they were living and a

Dogs mess in Fuerteventura
Hello all,

Is it just me? lots of dogs mess all over Fuerteventura, I have never seen so much dogs mess!.

I have been watching a lot of dog owners who pick up their dogs mess and some wash down with water, brilliant well done but what is being done about the irresponsible dog owners?.

Since the start of lockdown and with no tourists around it must be a lot easier to catch dog owners who do not pick up?.

We are in the Corralejo area and the local authorities have been doing a great job by hav

N26 - another card option for Fuerteventura?
Apologies if perhaps I'm off-topic and not sure whether this has already been mentioned before but N26 may be another good option for paying DDs in Spain, providing you can get by with only three free withdrawals per month.

Growing Mangoes on Fuerteventura
I buy mangoes from Fran and Chemi from time to time when the price is reasonable, less than 3€ a kilo, one to eat fresh and the rest for making chutney. I refuse to pay the 5/6/7€ that Mercadona charge. When i was in our local bar a week ago a Majorero came in offering his home grown mangoes for 2€ a kilo, well I couldn't resist! And they were the best mangoes I'd ever tasted, maybe because they hadn't been chilled? So a few batches of chutney later I was left with a pile of stones/seeds and tho
