Surveyors report when Purchasing a House
Wondered your opinion?

I've spoken to a few Fuerteventura estate agents and lawyers about getting survey reports on houses I might look at purchasing. All have said that they don't do this in Spain. Maybe I have asked the wrong question, do they normally do anything checks the structure of the building and and faults?

Regards

Andre

Lawyer for house sale, or not?
I'm wondering what experiences others have had selling a home here, with or without a lawyer?

Emmi gave me the name Beatriz in PR. She has quoted 1500€+tax.

Last time I sold, the agent did everything for me (included in his large commission fee).

Any advice, comments or idea what is a reasonable fee to do nothing very much?

Thanks

Rent house for a year
Hi all,

In januari I'm moving to Fuerteventura with my wife. But... We are still looking for a house to rent for the coming year.

We are trying to find things online (idealista, etc) but the prices are insane, or only for short term (vacation houses).

In 2 weeks we will go there for a week to try all kinds of real estate agents, but their online presence is next to nothing.

Does anyone know a reliable estate agent we can contact, or even better; know oa house we could rent?

Specialist for mold in the house?
Hi everyone,

Could you advise which specialist to call if we found mold in the house, specifically on the walls behind the baseboard, near the floor? We think that floor near the wall needs to be removed to see if the mold has spread there too.
Would be awesome if you have any references or contact details!
We are in Corralejo.

P.S. Most likely the mold appeared after the leaking pipe issue. We have of course informed our landlord, it took them 3 weeks to send someone who wanted just to

They denounce the demolition of the House of the Midwife or Maximina Santana, in El Cotillo.

The El Efequén Heritage Association publicly denounces the demolition of the house known as Casa de la Pantera or Casa de Maximina Santana, in the town of El Cotillo. This house was built in the mid-nineteenth century with the materials and values of traditional architecture. It was a U-shaped stone house with all its rooms standing and a façade facing south. Despite its age, the
