Inflated price of bananas
Is it me or the price of bananas doubled within the last few months? It used to be anywhere between €1 & €1.60 for many years, nowadays €2.10 in Lidl, €2.80 in
HiperDino
, €3.20 in Mercadona. Back in the UK, the price of bananas is still around £1, for bananas from Latin America. This made me wonder if something happened to the Canary farms. Does anyone has some info or a theory?
Any other fruit and veg seems to follow the standard inflation numbers, or at least I didn't notice a ra
