Hello there - I have an apartment to sell and was wondering if it's worthwhile trying to sell privately? Any suggestions on websites etc. that might do the job?

We are thinking about selling our 14 year old car later in the year and switching to hire cars for our regular visits. We have owned it from new. Can anyone advise as to the process?
What is the best way to find a buyer?
Do we need to give notice to cancel the insurance specifically or can we just cancel the yearly bank debit?
Do we need to notify the Ayuntamiento and/or Trafico or anyone else and if so how?
