Applying for your Residencia: How To
|
Having posted a "How to" guide on obtaining your NIE (see https://fuerteventura.click/Thread-Apply...NIE-How-to) I thought it would be helpful to post a similar guide on applying for your Residencia, or Certificate of Residence for EU Citizens*
* After the UK leave the EU, the system will change, so if that has already happened, please don't rely on this information!!

Travel Insurance info for Dutch residents
|
I had to split this from another insurance tread to keep everything in order. (Sam)
Insurance companies in the UK must make fortunes.
In the Netherlands we pay €90/year. 180 days per trip, Europe only and a €50 own risk for baggage.
(90 days is standard, but when we objected they changed it to 180)

Non Residents Tax
|
|
Hi all
I keep checking my Bank Account but no sign of current IBI being asked for or paid.
I’m just asking so that I don’t get caught out by missing my Non Resident Tax payment deadline.
I did a couple of years ago and it was a right faff getting it and the late payment fines sorted.
Thanks for any advice

EHIC cards issued to British FV residents with S1 reciprocal healthcare
|
People with these EHIC cards will be aware that they are issued by Newcastle, not Spain. The current ones are valid until the end of the year. If you require one for future use in other EU countries (not Spain) they are now available to order online at Gov.uk. Very simple online process:
