Anyone any recent experience of taking a Spanish mortgage for a property purchase on the Island?
When i looked 12 months back  to finance on Pueblo Majorero the rates were competitive but the fees (legal, taxes etc) were adding near on 5,000 euros. 
I understand that since then some law changes may have been introduced to cut the fees though i guess the rates will increase to compensate.
Given the £ to E rate at present it may make sense to hedge rather than take a poor exchan

I have recently heard of UK Spanish residents going back to the UK for long term treatment.  How is this done as I assumed UK registration with doctor would have been terminated?  Confused.

Has anyone any idea if the Spanish government is doing anything to assist business owners with paying their staff and or helping with their personal living costs? from what I can glean from family and friend in the UK, it would appear if you are an employee you receive 80% of your normal wage/salary, and if you are self employed you receive up to? £2500 per month, which comes from the Government, but here it would appear, that they have to pay their staff as normal, and when this is all over th

Well, following the success of our courses, we've been asked if any more are in the pipeline. And the answer to that is 'yes!' But there's a 'but'.... In order to run the courses, the teacher needs a decent number of students.
