Spanish Will in Corralejo
Can anyone advise on the average cost of a Spanish will and if there's anyone in Corralejo they'd recommend that provides this service? I'm assuming it goes through a Notaria.

Thanks

Renewing Spanish Driving Licence - over 65s
I read on the DGT website that renewing your Spanish Driving Licence after age 65 is fairly simple, and so it proved!
You can start the process up to 3 months before the old one expires.
You choose one of the approved Medical Centres who will do your medical tests AND they will process all the paperwork for you! If you are 70 you only pay the cost of the medical, (45€) no tax and no fee for processing. The medical centre even does your photo! You don't need an appointment - just go in.

Spanish locator form
I am fully vaccinated with a booster jab & coming back out to Fuerte mid-September.

I believe the rules now state that the locator form is no longer required for anyone who is fully vaccinated.

For my peace of mind, can anyone who has flown recently confirm that just proof of vaccination is required & the locator form (SpTH) does not have to be completed.

UK Private pensions paid direct to Spanish bank account - charges!
Hi
Just wondering, does anyone get a private pension from the UK paid directly into their Spanish bank account and if so, what exchange rate is used (good/bad/indifferent) and do you get charged for this service?
I've enquired with one pension scheme - they use current 'bank exchange rate' and want to charge £20 for each transfer. This would leave me much worse off than receiving the Money into UK account and transferring via Wise.
Thanks for any info - please don't give personal details et

Canary Islands coasts no longer administered by Spanish government
This,    https://inspain.news/coasts-of-the-canar...overnment/

might get into a disaster for the islands and their environment, especially the nature of today's coasts, like in El Cotillo.

Just don't trust the Canarian government, they're only thinking in ways to get more Money and tourism, disregarding the real natural values of the islands, it's an old story. Their idea on what the island needs, seems over and over again, corrupted.

Advice on Spanish wills for UK residents in Spain
Folks, hopefully I can offer something useful back now instead of just asking questions!

There seems to be a lot of confusion over succession laws i.e. who you can leave Money to in your will. This is known legally as 'freedom of testamentary disposition'.

[size=small]In Spain, there is no such freedom by default, and children and the spouse of the deceased can be the 'forced heirs' of the deceased.  Because of this, even if you make a will in Spain
