Although I've obviously seen steel framed construction used for commercial properties it's the first time I've seen it being used for a house. Not even sure it's steel, just guessing!

Fuerteventura has several historic buildings scattered throughout the island, among them is the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, which is located in Tindaya (La Oliva). This structure was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest by Decree 255/1993, of September 24, 1993.

Evacuated a person on the beach of Jarugo.

Around 15.00 hours this afternoon the emergency services mobilized the GES rescue helicopter for a case of drowning on the beach of Jarugo, in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario.



The state of the evacuated person has not transcended, but everything indicates that the emergency services have managed to save his life with their rapid action.
