The Police have recently installed CCTV in El Cotillo.  There are cameras next to the Football ground and in front of Azzurro restaurant.

The Civil Guard has arrested three people in the town of Caleta de Fuste, in Fuerteventura, as alleged perpetrators of several robberies with violence. The operation is part of the reinforcement of security measures implemented in the area.

The investigation, carried out by agents of the Puerto del Rosario Post, began in March following various complaints filed by foreign citizens. The victims reported thefts both in hotel rooms and on public roads, some of them with physical violence.
