OK, so with live in Triquivijate and currently use NetServices for Internet (and mobile phone). Whilst the speed is generally acceptable the phone coverage is not that reliable - missed calls even though it is sitting next to us on the desk and never rang.
We were hoping that Avatel would be bringing fibre here and they said that if the got 100 names they would look at it. However a friend went in for an update recently and they said MAYBE 1 or 2 years.
We don't have a landline (few places in Triqui do unless you happen to live near the school I believe) and have a receiver on our roof which has clear sight of the masts on the hills above Betancuria.
does anyone know if there is a fast and reliable alternative to NetServices?

Try asking Movistar, a long shot, but worth a phone call or visit to a shop.

Tom.

We have a house in V de O & also use NetService. We actually moved away from IPTV as download was so unreliable, especially evenings. So now use satellite which is much better. The antenna on your roof isn’t necessarily picking from Betancuria as our town map shows a booster in the village. Point being, there may be the same in Triqui which is not clear line of site to you 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Digimobil is the cheapest I've seen for unlimited data/calls, including international with 1000 sms free for just 25 a month, just use your phone as a portable hotspot, I've found if the phone is decent you can get 10mb/sec

Definitely points to Betancuria range - we are on the edge of the village in line of sight, nothing between us and the masts.
