Wow, the number drops seem to be getting bigger & pretty downwardly consistent. Not looking good for the island’s economy. Hope this turns around soon ☹️☹️

Big decrease but I guess the Thomas Cook fiasco will have taken quite a few passengers away. I suspect that the downturn in some EU economies (Germany and France in particular) is a big contributor.

I would like to see these figures broken down country by country not just a guess.

Look on Aena.es and 'Estadistics de tráfico aéreo'
You can select country and even individual airports (if you really want to!)
The trend is down in Fuerteventura. TC is an easy 'excuse' for the politicians, but it runs deeper than that as the same affect is not seen across other markets. And over a longer period prior to Sept 2019

I think that Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia, Greece etc are really offering great value for
Money to try and get the tourist back after the bad time they had. Also with the reduced value of sterling people may be heading for the cheapest destinations. It will probably all settle over the next year or two. I have noticed over the years that some of the smart alecs in Fuerteventura are inclined to increases prices when things get quite thinking people don’t mind paying more and keeping the profits up. Well I have news for them , not on your nelly.

That works out at approx 120 passengers per plane, and when you take binter etc with frequent smaller capacity flights it look like the other flights are quite full.
That looks like the people still want to come to Fuerteventura
