There were 328,655 passengers through Fuerteventura airport in January 2022. That is a 264% increase on the same month last year, and a 26% drop on January 2020.

There were 372,576 passengers(Arrivals and Departures) through Fuerteventura airport in February 2022. That is a 403% increase on the same month last year, and a 25% drop on February 2020.

In the period January-February 2022 there have been 701,231 passengers through the airport(Arrivals and Departures). That is a 327% increase compared to 2021 and a 19% decrease compared to 2020.

There were 479,844 passengers(Arrivals and Departures) through Fuerteventura airport in March 2022. That's a 369% increase on the same month last year and and a 5.9% drop on March 2019.

In the period January -March 2022 there have been 1,181,075 passengers through the airport(Arrivals and Departures). That is a 343% increase on the same period last year, and a 14.6% decrease on 2019.

I've just noticed that the posts I made for Jan and Feb, should have quoted 2019 figures not 2020.

In the period January -April 2022 there have been 1,678,327 passengers through the airport(Arrivals and Departures). That is a 347% increase on the same period last year, and a 10.4% decrease on 2019.

In the period January- June 2022 there have been 2,544,450 passengers through the airport(Arrivals and Departures). That is a 245% increase on the same period last year, and a 7.2% decrease on 2019.

IF there is only a 1.1% decrease on 2019 Stephen, I have no idea where they are, they are certainty not in Caleta, there were some people at the market when i passed yesterday but crowded it was not!

IF there is only a 1.1% decrease on 2019 Stephen, I have no idea where they are, they are certainty not in Caleta, there were some people at the market when i passed yesterday but crowded it was not!

I can't compare to June '19 as we weren't on the island the whole of that month but over the last 3 weeks it has seemed fairly quiet in the northern areas of the island when we have been out and about. Having said that there is a definate increase in motor traffic. It would be interesting to see the breakdown down of passengers by country.

Most of May the south felt half empty. Especially the second half of the month. I know some people never leave the hotel pool but normally the beaches are much busier.

When we were in Caleta in June, it was fairly quiet, we also visited Correlejo and Moro Jable and both were very quiet as well.
